Matilda Nepean’s hospital operations are overseen by senior healthcare administrator Kate Silver.

An experienced hospital manager, Kate is the chief operating officer at Matilda Health Care and Arcadia Health Care. She has extensive experience in clinical management roles in complex health care organisations, including planning and developing new private health facilities – including surgical, sub-acute and mental health hospitals.

Kate has responsibility for corporate operations at both Matilda Nepean and Arcadia Pittwater, one of the leading sub-acute private hospitals serving the northern beaches and north shore of Sydney.

Kate was part of the team that opened Matilda Nepean in 2023 and Arcadia Pittwater in 2017. She worked as Hospital Director at Arcadia Pittwater until 2022 before being appointed to the role of group Corporate Operations Manager and later Chief Operating Officer. A physiotherapist by background, Kate has a Masters of Health Management and a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy).
