We’re bringing the next generation of healthcare to Nepean
Matilda Health Care is building a new 90-bed private hospital – Matilda Nepean Private Hospital – in a world-class medical hub adjacent to Nepean Hospital in Western Sydney.
The new hospital will offer specialist services in rehabilitation, medical, geriatrics, palliative care, mental health and wellness therapies within a purpose-built, boutique hotel style setting. Health care services will be provided on both an inpatient and a day patient basis.
The hospital is expected to be completed by November 2022 and open for patients from February 2023.
Matilda Nepean Private Hospital will bring an evidence-based, “whole person wellness approach” to the delivery of health care in a boutique hotel style setting, including onsite, chef-cooked meals designed by expert dieticians to aid optimal recovery.
Located at the base of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney, the new hospital will model and expand on the services already provided by its affiliated hospital, Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital. This well-established and acclaimed private hospital located on the northern beaches of Sydney has set a new standard in the delivery of sub-acute health care services in an inpatient and day care setting.
Excellence in care, support and service
Matilda Nepean will provide a range of specialist inpatient and day therapy programs and services.
Inpatient specialties will include rehabilitation, medical, geriatric, palliative care and mental health.
Day programs will be offered in a range of rehabilitation specialities and mental health.
A comprehensive wellness program will also be available, which will include Matilda Nepean’s signature gym and hydrotherapy programs.
The model of care delivered at Matilda Nepean Private Hospital will be based on the same highly successful approach used at Matilda Health Care’s sister hospital, Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital, which brings a wellness-based approach to inpatient hospital health care and day therapies.
Experienced doctors with compassion
All patients are admitted to the hospital under the care of a specialist doctor. Patients are comprehensively reviewed on admission and an individualised care plan developed by your specialist doctor, who will also oversee and manage your care.
