Dr Augustus (Gus) Pusic is a senior Psychiatrist with more than 25 years of experience who works across all aspects of general adult psychiatry.

He has a special interest in:

• mood disorders
• anxiety disorders
• psychotic disorders
• attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• obsessive-compulsive disorders and
• schizophrenia.

Depending on the condition and need, his treatment approaches include both psychotherapies and pharmacotherapies.

Dr Pusic has previously held roles as a Director of Community Mental Health Services and visiting consultant for the Department of Corrective Services.

In addition to his work at Matilda Nepean, he also consults at Nepean Hospital and St John of God Richmond Hospital. His private practice rooms are located in Penrith.

Dr Pusic speaks English, French, Greek and Italian.
